We are Local:
A member of the Kale family has been located in the South Loop on Roosevelt Road since 1921. We are a family owned and operated business that knows the Chicago market and has seen both its ups and its downs.
Our History:
Kale is the middle name of CEO Nick Patterson. Nick’s grandfather, Sol Kale, had started a uniform company back in 1951 (Kale Uniforms) and grew it into one of the largest suppliers to the police, postal and fire departments in the country. They supplied the uniforms for many famous Chicago movies including Backdraft and The Blues Brothers.
